Profile
Dr. Vijaya Vardhan Manchala specialize in Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Diversity and Inclusion, Women Empowerment, Innovation, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). He earned his Ph.D. from Pondicherry University in 2017 and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Andhra University. Prior to his current position, Dr.Manchala gained valuable experience at Presidency University, Bangalore, and the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. Dr.Manchala has published over 10 articles in both international and national journals and edited the book “Women in the Changing World of Work.” He is a reviewer for three notable journals: Global Knowledge, Memory and Communication, South Asian Journal of Human Resources Management, and Total Quality Management & Business Excellence. He has organized three national conferences in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) for India and Bhutan, actively promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) among student communities. As an Innovation Ambassador under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, he plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students. Dr.Manchala has organised and also served as a resource person for numerous Management Development Programs (MDPs) and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), enhancing professional development in the field. He received a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from the University Grants Commission to do his doctoral studies and was awarded with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Under his guidance one research scholar got awarded her Ph.D Doctorate at Presidency University. His commitment to research and education continues to inspire both students and colleagues, as he explores the intersections of diversity, innovation, and empowerment within organizations.
