Dr. V. Thilagam is a Graduate in commerce from PSG College of Arts and Science and completed her PhD from the Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) Hyderabad. She taught in PSG College of Arts and Science for about seven months and Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women for two and a half years before joining PSGIM. She has been with PSG Institute of Management since 1996. Her areas of interest include Accounting, Finance, Family Business and Entrepreneurship. She has an academic experience of 25 years. She has undergone the Teachers Teacher Training Programme at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. She attended the Certificate Program on Entrepreneurship conducted by the Wadhwani Center for Entrepreneurship at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She is also a NEN faculty leader. She has to her credit, a text- cum-workbook on Management Accounting, and papers on entrepreneurship at National and International Conferences. She has delivered guest lectures on Entrepreneurship, Starting a small Business and Accounting. Recently she participated in the Global Colloquium on Participant Centered Learning, at Harvard Business School, Boston, with a partial scholarship from Andrew Towl Endowment Fund from Harvard.
