The Legacy of PSG & Son's Charities
Let there be charity, so that other people may share my family's prosperity
Shri PS. Govindasamy Naidu
The story of the PSG Family is a saga of robust initiatives, enterprising thoughts and enlightened imagination, rooted soundly in far-sighted benevolence. Their benefactions in the field of education has a long standing significance, accorded with immense pride for entering into various ventures to promote advancements in technological and liberal learning in this part of the country for over nine decades now.

The origin of the family could be traced way back to its forebearer, Sri Venkatarama Naidu who belonged to the family of ‘Periya Veedu‘ (The Big House). One of his sons was Sri Sama Naidu. PSG Family is the direct descendent of Sri Sama Naidu. The letter ‘P’ in the name ‘PSG’ signifies the name of the house and the ‘S’ stands for Sri Sama Naidu. Sri P S Govindasamy Naidu was one of the sons of Sri Sama Naidu and hence the third letter in the name ‘PSG’ signifies him. The founders propelled several charity expeditions through generations and have hence immortalized the name “PSG”.
