What is the eligibility criteria to join MBA Progam?
A recognized bachelor’s or equivalent degree in any program with a minimum of 55 % in aggregate is required to apply for the MBA program.
For PGDM and MBA (Part Time), preferably a minimum of 2 years work experience is desirable. A recognized bachelor’s or equivalent degree in any program with a minimum of 55 % in aggregate are required.

What is the application fee?
The application fee for the management program is INR 1000/- (Non-Refundable) & payment can be made through debit card / credit card / Net Banking.
If my application is successful, when will I expect a call for GD and interview?
Once you apply online you will receive an auto generated mail with your login details as application confirmation. Along with that interview date will be highlighted. The last date for submission of application is 21st January 2019.

What do I expect from a GD and Interview?
Applicants are expected to possess a good command over English language, knowledge of current trends and a positive attitude. You are expected to have a clear idea of why you wish to pursue a course in management. Leadership potential is desirable.
For TANCET candidates, is there a minimum cutoff required to apply?
No, it depends on merit basis
If selected, how long I can defer my acceptance?
Under any circumstance, deferral beyond 2 weeks is not permitted.
In case if I don’t get admission to an MBA program, can I apply for other management program? If so, what is the procedure?
Of course you can. If you are applying for PGDM or any other programs, you are required to fill in a separate application form with the same registration number.
I don’t have any work experience. Does this discourage me from applying for the PGDM/MBA program?
No, not at all. it would not deter you from applying for the MBA program. The work experience for the PGDM program is mandatory.

What would be the estimated cost of doing the management program?
The estimated cost of financing two-year full-time management program would be approximately INR. 8 Lakhs.
*The above mentioned fee is exclusive of accommodation, travel and any incidental expenses.
Mention some options for funding the management education?
Funding for the MBA program can be done through self-finance or educational loans obtained from banks. Students have obtained educational loans from various banks like Central Bank, State Bank of India, HDFC, Etc.,

What programs are offered by PSGIM?
PSGIM offers two-year full-time MBA program approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. We also offer 2 year PG Diploma in Management Program, which is approved by AICTE. Other than the full-time two-year MBA and PGDM program, PSGIM also offers MBA three-year part-time program at our campus.
PSG group of institution has a tie-up with University of Toledo and they offer two-year full-time MBA program.
What is the difference between PGDM and MBA Program?
Some of the key questions concerning a management aspirant are: should I do MBA or PGDM? Is MBA better than PGDM? To give aspiring management students some sense of clarity, the difference between PGDM and MBA program is explained.
The MBA program is offered by the university where as the PGDM program is approved by AICTE and does not come under any university affiliation. The MBA program is highly regulated by the university. Generally it is a myth in our country that MBA is better than PGDM which is wrong. In fact PGDM offers more flexibility in curriculum design and autonomy than an MBA. Aspiring PGDM students who wish to pursue a doctoral degree after completing their post graduation can do so by applying for FPM program and not for PhD. FPM is equivalent to a PhD and hence they need not worry about it.
What is the duration of the management program?
The duration of full time program is two years and PT-MBA is three years.
How is the curriculum structured?
During the first year the emphasis is on the foundations of management, enabling students to establish a strong base in general management concepts, finance and research methods. During the second-year students can choose to specialize in any function, thereby enabling them to gain in-depth knowledge in a particular function. The program offers a wide array of electives for those who are interested to gain in-depth knowledge in a particular area. The rigor of the course prepares students to handle all strategic and tactical issues concerning business or a specific functional area. To complete the program, the students must submit a project based dissertation that will demonstrate their ability to think and act strategically while tackling real and complex organizational problems.
Teaching at PSGIM is extensively case based, enabling students to prepare themselves for the real world business challenges. Our case based teaching gives students the confidence, skills and essential knowledge to deal with business challenges head on.

We also pay special attention to the holistic development of students. For instance, our ALPS (Active Learning Program Service) provide a unique opportunity for our students to develop leadership skills, communication skills and foster teamwork. For those who aspire to specialize in finance, we have an MOU with National Stock Exchange for one of the premier courses “National Stock Exchange Certified Capital Market Professional” which is offered at our campus. To expose and train students in the areas of security and portfolio analysis and financial derivatives, our faculty members of finance use simulator (Global Trade cracker) and real time software (Spider) for performing technical analysis.

For those who wish to stay outside the campus, the campus is located right in the heart of the city and is well connected by public and private transportation. University of Toledo, USA in tie-up with PSG offers a two-year full time MBA program at the PSG campus.
Under this program you have two pathways:
Pathway 1: To study both the years at PSG and degree awarded by University of Toledo
Pathway 2: To study one year at PSG and second year at the University of Toledo and degree awarded by University of Toledo.
The tuition fee for the program is approximately INR 10, 00,000 for pathway 1 and INR 15, 00,000 for pathway 2 plus living expenses. The duration of the program is two years.
