Dr R Indumathy is an accomplished academician and trainer from Coimbatore with over 19 years of experience spanning teaching, academic administration, and industry. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) – Faculty of Human Resources in the Department of Management Sciences at PSG Institute of Management, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. She began her career in the banking sector before transitioning to academia, where she has made significant contributions to several leading business schools. Renowned for her innovative and engaging pedagogy, she effectively integrates ICT tools, experiential learning strategies, and Out Bound Learning methods to promote practical application. Her contributions to institutional development are notable, having held key leadership roles in NAAC, Training and Placement, Research and Development, Department Advisory Board, International Relations, Career Guidance, and Higher Education. She also serves as an Academic Expert Member on various Boards of Studies, supporting curriculum development and quality enhancement. Her research portfolio includes 31 journal publications, 4 books, 3 book chapters, 8 patents, and numerous papers presented at national and international conferences, including IEEE. Two of her papers have received Best Paper awards. She has earned numerous accolades such as the Best Outgoing Student, Best NCC Cadet, Best Employee, Distinguished Professor Award, Educational Excellence Award, Faculty Excellence Award in Leadership, Best Faculty in Innovative Teaching, Thanga Penne, and AIMS WeSchool Teaching Innovation Award. She has also been recognized with the Discipline Star and Top Performing Mentor titles by NPTEL. A Gold Medallist and University Rank Holder in MBA, she is also the recipient of several other academic and professional honours. She brings strong expertise in academic and administrative auditing, having served as an Audit Expert for Academic and Administrative Audit processes across multiple institutions and serves as a reviewer for a few peer-reviewed journals. She has delivered sessions as a resource person in corporate trainings, FDPs, MDPs, workshops, and OBL programmes, and has undertaken consultancy projects for startups. Her international exposure includes organizing and attending academic programmes in Malaysia and Dubai.
