Dr. Rathimala Kannan, an Associate Professor in Decision Sciences at PSG Institute of Management, previously served for 20 years at Multimedia University of Malaysia. She holds a B.Sc. and M.C.A. from Bharathiar University, India, and a PhD from Multimedia University, Malaysia, focusing on web structure mining. Her research interests span Business Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, and Information Systems, evident through her extensive publications in renowned journals. Dr. Rathimala specializes in designing tailored training courses in business data analytics using machine learning, facilitating skill development from introductory to hands-on levels. Her expertise extends to corporate trainings and workshops, including collaborations with IEEE conferences and Telkom University, Indonesia. Certified by the Malaysian Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), she engages in training, consulting, and collaborative projects, held senior memberships in IEEE and professional technologist status in the Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT).
