Dr. B. Uma Maheswari is an Associate Professor in the Decision sciences stream at PSG Institute of Management, located in Tamil Nadu, India. With an academic career spanning over two decades, she holds expertise in data science, strategic management, business analytics, design thinking, and entrepreneurship. She co-authored the book titled 'Introduction to Data Science, Practical Approach with R and Python,' which was published by Wiley as part of their Emerging Technology series in 2021. In 2022, her book 'Predictive Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making - Tools and Techniques for Solving Real-World Problems' was published by Nova Science Publishers, New York. Beyond academia, she conducts several training programs in the domain of data science and business analytics. She is also proficient in R, Python, and Tableau. She was responsible for creating and launching a One-year Executive program in Data Science. Moreover, she served as the program coordinator of the University of Toledo MBA program. Currently, she is a member of the core Accreditation team.
