Profile Summary

Dr.V.Srividya is currently the Director I/C & a Professor of Finance at PSG Institute of Management, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. She has over two decades of academic experience and a brief stint in the Industry. She is recognized for her contribution to research and teaching excellence in management, some of the notable ones are the AIMS – ICFAI Best Teacher Award, 2021, PSG & Sons Charities Teacher of the Year Award, AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers, AIMS J.L.Batra Best Research paper Award , CMA Award for Best Research Guide and ACBSP Best of Region 10 Award. She is an accredited evaluator of ACBSP since 2016 and serves as an examiner for the ACBSP accreditation of B-Schools.She is the participant of the MHRD, GOI sponsored Leadership for Academician Program (LEAP) organised by IIT Bombay and Nanyang Technological University in 2019. Her teaching interests are in Investments, Markets and Risk Management. She has undertaken teaching and research assignments at Hof University, Germany, university of Toledo and Sandiego state University in the US and Kingston University, UK. She is the author of 70 plus papers in the area of investments, risk management, behavioural finance and entrepreneurial finance and has edited three books. She has supervised 8 Ph.D scholars in Anna university and served in the doctoral committee of researchers in Anna University, Bharathiar University and Visvesvaraya Technical University. She has undertaken various training and consultancy projects for financial restructuring and revival of SME’s and creation of start-ups. She has organized a series of International conference in Emerging Financial Markets during 2007 to 2015. She was involved in the design and administration of collaborative International programs with Universities in the US, UK and Germany since 2006. She received her doctoral degree in 2001 from Bharathiar University and completed the FDPM from IIM Ahmedabad during 2002- 03
