Dr. R. Krishnaveni, Professor

Biography
Dr.Krishnaveni, recipient of “Outstanding women researcher award (2010)” and “Best management educator award (2009)”, is presently the head of HR stream and professor of HR and OB. She has authored text books and her articles have found their place in prominent international and national level journals. She is the founder editor of Journal of Contemporary Research in Management (JCRM) and editorial Board member of the journals, ‘AIMS International Journal of management’ and ‘Journal of case studies in emerging markets’ of Emerald Publications. Presently her research is directed towards Capacity building and Performance management.

  2. Rs.12, 50,000 grant from AICTE under “Research Progression Scheme” for the project “Introducing and Testing “Activity Based learning” as a new pedagogy in Higher education system in India with special reference to B-schools” for the year 2013-2016.

  4. Silver medal in J.L.Batra Best research paper presentation for the paper “Instrument development and Validation: Educator Characteristics Scale for Teacher Assessment” Co-authored with J.Anitha and Vandhana Madhavkumar conducted for management faculty at AIMS convention at Bhuvaneshwar on Aug 25-27, 2011.

  • Hof university of applied sciences, Germany, Europe: (27 May 2013 to 10 June 2013) – Dr. R. Krishnaveni visited Hof University of applied sciences from 27 May 2013 to 10 June 2013. She was invited to handle part of the course “International Human Resource management” for “Global Management” students. There were 19 students who were enrolled for this course comprising of Germans from various parts, Spanish and a Nigerian. The lectures were specific to Indian context and had duration of 32 hours in the span of two weeks.
  • USA: (Oct 21 to Dec 10 2011) – The six week visit to USA was covering few major universities. Of this the major one was University of Toledo, Ohio state (3 weeks). Visited Stanford University and UC Berkeley Universities at California, San Diego state university and Florida International University, Florida. Had interaction and discussion with faculty regarding research collaboration.
