Biography
Dr.Kavitha, is a faculty in the domain of Accounting and Finance at PSG IM. A strong academician, her academic and research interests are oriented towards accounting, corporate finance, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. Her doctoral research was focused on the impact of corporate governance mechanisms on the disclosures made by Indian firms. She has been trained at the Harvard Business School in creating and deploying innovative teaching pedagogy and case teaching pedagogy in the MBA course. She has also obtained significant exposure in international accreditation processes, specifically in the domain of assessment and assurance of learning. She has been an active member of the institute in the pursuit of international accreditations. She has held various administrative responsibilities such as Deputy Controller of Examinations, and Exam Coordinator.  She has presented and published several papers in this domain that were well received in national and international conferences. An ardent researcher, she has published numerous papers in international and national peer reviewed journals
