Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning
The Center of excellence in Teaching and Learning at PSGIM is committed to supporting and promoting effective teaching and learning across the different streams of management. The center aims to create an environment that values all perspectives, experiences, and contributions, where instructors and learners can engage and learn through open, and interactive pedagogies. The center promotes the use of evidence-based best practices, recognizes the assets that all learners bring to the classroom, and enables the learners to imbibe a culture of continuous learning.
Goals of CETL
- Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning aims to promote the professional and intellectual development of faculty
- The center supports the design and implementation of innovative teaching learning methods and emerging pedagogies
- The center encourages research in the theory and practice of teaching and learning.
- The center aims to support faculty members and research scholars with the needed resources that will enable delivering the best student experience as possible.
- To support the curation of teaching content like business case studies, classroom games and simulations
- To create a culture of continuous learning and Knowledge dissemination
Initiatives
- Workshop series in Pedagogy
To equip faculty members with the recent advancements in pedagogy and other tech enabled learning initiatives workshops are arranged. Subject matter experts and specialised faculty are invited to deliver the workshop
2. Best Practices Round table
Faculty of PSGIM, constantly strive to bring to classroom a unique teaching and learning experience, such best practices adopted by faculty are shared and disseminated to peer, thereby enriching the entire team to think and evolve best practices.
3. Research and Collaboration in Teaching and Learning
Scholarly work in Teaching and Learning space is what will ensure the learning community at large benefits, faculty not only share their research work in conferences, but also publish their research in the area of teaching and learning. They are also open to collaborate on such research avenues.
Center for Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Family Business
The Center for Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Family Business aims to promote entrepreneurship and family business practices through the development of academic, research, and outreach initiatives that inspire thinking and cultivate leadership in society. PSGIM has been at the forefront in introducing innovative courses and programs (Creativity and Lateral Thinking, Cross Functional Electives to name a few) in tune with the changing needs of industry and the economy. The center seeks to provide an interface for academicians, researchers, and practitioners to learn from each other, embrace best practices and engage expertise.

The Center for Sustainability (CS) at PSGIM aims to prepare individuals and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to incorporate social and environmental sustainability into core business strategy. In doing so, businesses reduce risk; create competitive advantage; develop innovative services, products, and processes; while improving financial performance and creating value for society. CS implements its mission through activities in education, research, and engagement with society.
